CEREMONY

Ivala has a wide range of ceremony options available for your special day which can be discussed in more detail but some ideas are to hold your ceremony down at the river, under the pecan trees or in our old family church (a few km’s down the dirt road) which can hold 50 seated guests.

RECEPTION

Our recently renovated reception venue which is located in our family’s old Sonnengold Orange Winery can hold up to 110 guests and has a modern bar area coupled with some vintage pieces that we have collected over the years.

ACCOMMODATION

We can accommodate up to 22 people in our guest house and cottage as well as up to 90 campers. For guests wanting additional accommodation, please let us know and we can refer you to a few of our B&B friends in the area.

midnight SHUTTLE

We can put you in touch with a local shuttle service who offers a ride to the local B&B's in Muden which leaves at midnight.

Basic

Our Basic package is a no frills option and covers the use of our grounds for your ceremony as well as the winery for your reception.

• Check in from 8am on day of event
• Use of grounds for ceremony and pre-drinks
• Use of winery for reception
• Venue closes at 12pm on day of event

Full

Our Full package covers the use of our grounds for your ceremony, the winery for your reception and accommodation  (including breakfast) for 22 guests in our guest house for 1 night. 

• Check in from 8am on day of event
• Use of grounds for ceremony and pre-drinks
• Use of winery for reception
• Venue closes at midnight on day of event
• Accommodation for 22 people in our guest house for 1 night
• Breakfast for 22 people in our guest house for 1 morning
• Check out by 10am on day of departure

Premium

Our Premium package covers the use of our grounds for your ceremony, the winery for your reception and accommodation (including breakfast) for 22 guests in our guest house for 2 nights. 

• Check in from 8am on day of arrival
• Use of grounds for ceremony and pre-drinks
• Use of winery for reception
• Venue closes at midnight on day of event
• Accommodation for 22 people in our guest house for 2 nights
• Breakfast for 22 people in our guest house for 2 mornings
• Check out by 10am on day of departure

our packages include:

• Exclusive use of:
  • the farm grounds for the ceremony
  • the wedding reception area
• Access to the kitchen for caterers
• Bed & Breakfast for the Bride & Groom
• Wooden wedding arch for ceremony
• Large wooden cake table
• Wooden ‘wishing well’ vintage toolbox
• Use of 6 wooden wine barrels and 15 bar stools which can be set up outside the house if needed while guests wait and have a drink before moving to the reception
• Fire pit and firewood setup outside reception doors
• Standby Generator
• Electricity points for the DJ
• Security guard for campers
• Use of the ablutions
• Cleaning of:
  • Reception toilet and outdoor ablution from 4-9pm on day of function
  • Reception area once all decorations, furniture, cutlery, crockery, glassware and personal items have been removed
